Japanese Sake cup made from Hinoki Cipres
These traditional cups are used to drink sake. Made in Japan from real Kisu Honoki wood, very beautifully finished and with a special scent.
The Sake should be filled to the brim and then drink from the corner. It is traditionally not polite to pour your cup yourself, this must be done by the host if your cup is empty. If the host's cup is empty, it is polite to offer to refill it.
These cups cannot be put in the dishwasher, hand rinsing and air drying is sufficient.
