The Japanese tea ceremony is called Chanoyu, Sado or simply Ocha in Japanese. During a choreographed ritual, the Japanese green tea, called Matcha, is prepared and served along with traditional Japanese sweets to balance the bitter taste of the tea. The ceremony is not so much about drinking tea, but about aesthetics, preparing a cup of tea from your heart. The host of the ceremony takes his guests into account with every movement and gesture.
